Fans got a good more exciting check out Horizon Forbidden West during this week’s State of Play where 14 minutes of brand name new gameplay was revealed. The footage shows off the graphic upgrades between last-gen consoles and this generation, to not mention new combat and enemies to seem forward to. What should are an exciting sneak peek at Horizon Forbidden West has now devolved, unfortunately, because some viewers have expressed disgust and disappointment at Aloy’s updated facial design.
Aloy is that the protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn and therefore the upcoming Horizon Forbidden West. She’s voiced by Ashly Burch and modeled after Hannah Hoekstra, a Dutch actress. Aloy is widely considered a robust leading female character, with many players appreciating the way she was written, designed, and depicted. Aloy’s appearance has changed from Horizon Zero Dawn to Horizon Forbidden West, because the sequel takes place six months after the events of the primary game. Her face looks a touch rounder, which might be explained by a couple of various things , but some fans reacted and decided her rounder cheeks were enough reason to now call Aloy “fat” and “ugly.”
